Bidibidi FM 95.3 is a community radio station established in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement and officially launched on 23 June 2023. Initiated by UNHCR and licensed by the Uganda Communications Commission, the station serves both refugee and host communities across Yumbe, Adjumani, Koboko, Moyo, Obongi, and parts of South Sudan.
The station plays a critical role in strengthening communication, community engagement, and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) by providing relevant, timely, and culturally appropriate information. Its programming supports community-based protection while also offering entertainment and educational content.
Broadcasting in multiple languages—including English, Arabic, Aringa, Madi, and Kakwa—Bidibidi FM reaches diverse audiences with tailored content for children, youth, women, and men. The station is supervised by STF with support from international partners, reinforcing its role as a trusted platform for information and dialogue.
